Like Our Vision?

Core to the mission of F2.8 is opportunity for enthusiasts and students to contribute to the broad canon of photographic discussion and legacy. This extends not only to the selected works we publish, but also who contributes to the final realization of these efforts.

We are a small shop with a defined bandwidth for getting work out the door. To expand our ability to bring more titles, information and experiences to you we are now accepting donations to expand our bandwidth to deliver on our mission of “Publishers of Undiscovered Photography.”

What will happen to these donations?

Donations will be pooled into $500 blocks and then awarded as mini-grants to undergraduate photography, visual arts or arts administration students at a local university in Indianapolis, IN where they will be paired with academic credits to offer experiential education opportunities for students, helping them prepare to enter into their professional vocation. These mini-grants will support 30 hours of work for each student awarded this opportunity. Students and the tasks they are assigned will vary according to skills each brings with them. The awarding of these grants will be announced on this site and our social media accounts as they occur.

What’s in it for me?

First of all, our sincere thanks. More substantively, your donation will be acknowledged in an upcoming F2.8 title. The title selected will either be a collective issue of Archive or one of our forthcoming book titles. Both of these platforms carry ISBN identification for posterity and potential retail distribution beyond this site. In addition to the knowledge that you are helping a student broaden their experience set, your donation will help us bring you more products or experiences to enjoy in the future.
